A smile’s got it’s fab powerπŸ˜ƒ

Bonjour beautiful baguettes! Hope you’re all staying safe and well.

Yesterday, we went camping! It was so fun and a great except when I wanted to shout at a mosquito…”LOOK AT ME, LISTEN, YOU SICK BLOODY SKIN SUCKER, I DESPISE YOU, YA HEAR ME?! DON’T YOU TOUCH ME, I MEAN I GET THAT MY BLOOD IS AMAZING BUT YOU LITTLE VAMPIRE, CUT IT OUT!” So ehm I’m not okay guys..pfffπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‘βœŒ

So anyway, we went boating yesterday while we were at camping and honestly it was worth my woohoo-ing. It was me, Kinjal and her family in one boat, my family and another family that we’re friends with in another boat. Kinjal’s mom and dad started off the boating. At first we were either going around in circles or getting hit by the greenery that surrounded the long, beautiful river. Well in the middle we smashed (okay well not smashed but you get it) into this couple that were peacefully resting at some rock, the girls body was in the river, her elbows supporting her. My side of the boat β›΅ almost hit her but she smiled at me and it was so reassuring that I just HAD to smile back.

See, her smile did wonders to me, her boyfriend must have noticed so he smiled at me and I smiled back at him, then when we got out of the mess which they helped us get out of, they both smiled and we left. I was very happy because I had received a smile for either no apparent reason or for reassuring, whatever it was, bless them and I hope they stay happy together because my heart truly felt very happy.

Moving on, we reached the exit of the river that we couldn’t go any further so we turned around and GOSH it was so hard even when I helped with the oars. We bumped into two ladies just chilling and one of the ladies looked up at me and smiled. Wow. People smiling a lot these days, eh? I like that. Or maybe I just missed it because of quarantine. I smiled a toothy one back at her and by the look on her face, she liked it. Probably just as much as me. Kinjal didn’t notice because she was busy fiddling with the oars. But I did. And I always will.

I want you to do the same. Those little things that make us happy but we don’t even notice. Those things that we have but we’re never grateful for. Those times when we only think about what we don’t have and don’t focus on what we’re blessed with. No hell no just no. Don’t do that. That’s bad. Look around you, the people, things, LITTLE things that make you smile. That exact smile you should pass on to people so they can do the same.

What about our smiles that cheer people up? Doesn’t that make a difference? It sure does and I’ve been doing that to everybody. If you do the same, step by step, you’ll get that habit, you won’t even realise you’re doing those amazing things, it’s THAT good, go on try it. Give it a go.

A smile’s got it’s fab power.

Please understand that.

When you’re feeling down, force yourself to smile, because you’ll get a touch of happiness. It’s gold.

I’ll give you an example.

You’ve got the ground you can step on. Have you ever, EVER asked for forgiveness? Ever said: “God, I’m so sorry, I’ve been stepping on the ground, on you. I ask for forgiveness.”?

I say that. And when I do I smile because I know I’ve asked for forgiveness, because I’ve remembered this teeny thing, that nobody usually gives a damn about. Why? Cause it doesn’t cross their mind.

Just notice those little things, smile at people FOR NO APPARENT REASON if you want to, you don’t NEED a reason to smile. Just smile and you’ll get double the appreciation you’re giving other people.

You get jealous, you get the double back at you.

You get happy for someone, you get double back at you.

Stretch your lips. Make dat crescent, face upwards on your face.

There you go, your phenomenal and marvelous smile. πŸ™‚

  1. I’ve never gone boating or camping before, I’m not sure the latter is done in my country but I can tell you had a great time and bless your friend’s heart for inspiring this post.

There’s something magical about someone smiling at you that makes you want to smile back. You’ll start to feel warm inside, no matter how cold you were feeling. I tend to forget the little and small things that make me smile sometimes but your post has reminded me to be thankful for them. I miss my friends so much and I can’t wait to see them and trade smiles with them. Great post x.

  5. Wow that sounds like you had a great time! πŸ™‚ Lol I really love smiling, it’s just so wonderful to see people smile at you! But lately it feels so suffocating to wear a mask because of the pandemic, so I don’t know if people can tell if I’m smiling or not πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ So I wonder what if I had a transparent mask LOL. Anyways thanks for sharing! πŸ™‚
